Latest Updates from Our Project:

Happy New Year!
over 4 years ago – Tue, Dec 31, 2019 at 04:59:15 PM

As 2019 draws to a close, we want to take a moment and share our thoughts on the past year and the excitement of 2020.

We had big plans for this year after our successful Kickstarter for Never Going Home, and things have been just as exciting as we expected, if not more so. We were able to work with a number of writers and creators we had wanted to work with for years, and many we already knew and were excited to work with again. It has been great building these relationships with our creator community which is constantly abuzz with new ideas, camaraderie, and silly jokes, but we are always supportive of each other and any projects our members are working on (including future Wet Ink Projects.

Most importantly, we have been able to work with Charles Fergusson-Avery, the extremely talented artist behind Never Going Home. He is always willing to help, and is a great creative mind to bounce ideas off of. When we discussed the potential of doing more Never Going Home material in 2020, he leaped at the chance. His art for the Never Going Home Campaign Dossiers (coming to Kickstarter January 14th) is going to amazing! We're excited to be working with Charles and a few other talented artists we were able to meet though our relationship with him, and can't wait to show you what they'll be working on later in 2020 (spoiler alert: It's more horror goodness!)

2019 also held the Kickstarter and development for Tenebria: Remnant of Rome. It's been released as PDF on DriveThruRPG, and we just received the DriveThru proofs for the PoD softcover and hardcover today, and they look great. The main print run is in the works, including the special editions, but they'll be in hand and shipped out soon! Getting to work with the amazing Steven Wu who wanted to play around with the +One system was an absolute joy. He's already working on another project for us, which will be announced closer to the Kickstarter launch.

But any success that we have had in 2019 would absolutely not been possible without every one of you! Our fans and supporters are the ones that keep us going, and your comments always keep us working to improve to bring you the very best games and experiences into the new year and beyond. So as we move into 2020, have a great and prosperous New Year!

PDFs and Cards now on DriveThruRPG!

All backers who have completed their BackerKit (which is almost all of you) should have received an email from DriveThruRPG with your digital copy of Tenebria: Remnant of Rome. We hope you enjoy it. Some of you have already asked about the custom cards that were designed for the game, and boy do they look great. We wanted to make sure you had access to the link where you could pick them up, so you can find them  RIGHT HERE!

Physical Books

The books have all been ordered from the printer and we'll be receiving the proofs this week, so once we've given approval, the print run will begin. Our initial timeline is looking pretty good at this point, and we can't wait to get them out to you.

Production Update

Hey all! We just wanted to let you know that Tenebria has made it through layout and has officially been sent to the printer. We should have the final run of the dice any day now, and the maps are already in hand. We should have the full PDF uploaded and under review at Drive Thru RPG within the next week, and the card deck is already up there just waiting for us to release it to the public. All that said, we hope you all are as excited as we are to get this product into your hands.

What's Next?

On January 14th, we're launching our next campaign which will be campaign sourcebooks for the awesome Never Going Home. For many of you, Never Going Home and the +One system are what pulled you into Tenebria, but others of you may not be familiar with the game. This game of eldritch horror in the trenches of World War One is a fan favorite and one just begging for more material. These books will have a number of new player options, new Whisper paths, terrifying creatures tainted by the corruption beyond the Veil, and collection of connected missions covering a specific area of the war. Our first set will cover the Battle of Gallipoli, the Russian Revolution, and the conflicts in the North Sea. So mark your calendars and get ready for some more excitement as we dive into 2020.

Production

Good afternoon friends and backers! We want to keep you in the loop of where we stand in regards to production for Tenebria: Remnant of Rome.

  • Manuscript: The Manuscript and a few extra art assets have been completed and are being sent to layout TODAY! Steven Wu has really outdone himself and we cannot wait for you all to get this product in your hands.
  • Dice: We received the prototypes of the dice and they look great. We are working with the producer on just a couple minor changes, but they should be starting the full print run this weekend.
  • Maps: We received the maps from the printer and they are fantastic!!!
  • (SPECIAL BONUS) CARDS!!!: We were hoping to unlock the special themed Tenebria deck of playing cards during the campaign, but we didn't make that stretch goal. However, we decided to make a deck of cards and make it available for purchase at DriveThruRPG when the book is launched. Those have been uploaded to the site and we're just waiting to receive our proofs before we make the final preparations for their release.

BackerKit

Be sure to complete your BackerKit Survey. They are being locked on Thursday and Cards are being charged this Friday. You have access to a number of add-ons in previous Wet Ink Games products, like the wildly popular Never Going Home about eldritch horror in the trenches of World War One.

Hey all!

Just a quick update to let you know where we stand.

The Edits are wrapping up and layout is set to begin shortly. Once that is knocked out, the books will go to the printer and we'll get the digital files uploaded and sent to you all via DriveThruRPG.

All in all, we're on track and things are looking great. Be on the lookout for a big announcement about our next project which launches January 14th!
